No more" Hamara Bajaj" from April of this year because the think tank of Bajaj Auto are thinking along the lines of building a brand image for the Pulsar and Discover brands. The Pulsar will be promoted as a performance machine at a reasonable price the Discover will be promoted as a fuel efficient as well as a powerful commuter.

In the 11^th edition of CNBC overdrive awards 2011 held at Mumbai  Bajaj pulsar was conferred the " hall of fame"  for its stunning performance.

Bajaj Pulsar 250 To Be Launched In Mid 2011

Yes you read it right,be ready for a bigger pulsar in the next year which will sport a 250cc single cylinder engine, liquid cooled, 4 valve/ cylinder technology, though the power and torque figures are unknown. It will have a design similar to the one in the Pulsar135 with the sharp edges, raised rear and possibly a monoshock suspension. Speculations are at an all time high as Mr. Rajiv Bajaj announced that there will be a new pulsar in the coming 2011 and we certainly think that it would be the 250cc one.  The bike should be priced around 1.4lacs which should see almost everyone upgrading from the 150cc segment to the 250. Hopefully we have a whole new segment in the coming year with the CBR250R also slated to launch along with a possible Yamaha 250CC bike.
