If you have plans to buy a Bajaj Motorcycle, prepare to shell out more as they are set to become costlier by thousand rupees. The official sources attribute this hike to the increasing cost of the raw materials involved in the manufacturing process.
President of the Bajaj Auto (two wheelers) said “The continued rising cost of raw material inputs is the main cause for this increase. Despite the hike our models continue to offer superior value compared to competition, and hence we do not expect this price rise to affect our sales.’’ The price rise will come in to effect from January 1, 2011. Other Two wheeler companies like TVS, Honda are also going to increase the price of their bikes in near future.
