Hero Group To Go For 400cc Diesel Powered Bikes

After their split with the Honda group, it seems Hero do not want to loiter around. Rumors are abound that Hero group are in talks to enter the 400 cc bike segment which will be diesel powered.




NDTV has learnt that the Hero group are in talks with a Chennai based firm to release a diesel based two wheeler. If it is true, this will be a new segment of bikes to look out for!

NDTV quotes that the bikes are of 400cc and are currently undergoing tests at ARAI. Hero plans to release these bikes sometime late this year.

Interesting fact is that Royal Enfield are also on the lookout for a supplier for their Bullet in the diesel segment. Hope we hear some good news quick!
