Aprilia RSV4 All Set To Be Launched Soon In India


Italian bike manufacturer Aprilia is all set to bring the Aprilia RSV4 during the last week of 2010 or early 2011. The bike will sport 1000cc, 4 stroke, and V-4 cylinder. Like all the superbikes, it will be liquid cooled and use the Double Overhead Camshaft technology. The 180 BHP machine will be sell at a higher price compared to the other litre class bikes that are available in India around 18lac. The 1000cc engine has a peak torque of 115N-m at 10000 Rpm.



The DOHC technology is sure to make it fuel efficient and bike is equipped with an inbuilt electronic management system. The fuel capacity of the bike is about 17 litres which should give provide a decent run of kilometres before each and every petrol top up. The engine is mated with a 6 speed gearbox and the “latest dynamic style transmission system”. The highlight of the bike is the weight if the bike which is just 180 kg, therefore power to weight ratio is very high compared to other bikes in the same segment.

The dashboard will sport both analog and digital panels. The front wheel measures 120/70-ZR17 and the rear 190/55-ZR-17. The bike has ticked all the boxes that’s required for a 1000cc bike and the fuel efficiency is sure to help its sales in the Indian market. The Italian craftsmanship coupled with the fuel efficient engine is sure to make everyone sit up and notice.
