- Vibration, vibration and vibration: They are an integral part of the bike and there is just no solution to it. But once you are used to it, it becomes normal and you stop minding it. But excessive and unbearable vibrations might be because of a loose nut or something.
- Idling: The RTR has the idling problem since the day it was launched. The Idling RPM changes often by itself. The best way to solve this problem is to take the matter into your own hands. Checkout our DIY section about the method to rectify the problem.
- Engine kill switch doesn’t work: The engine kill switch sometimes doesn’t work because of the loose contact between the wire and battery terminals. Check if all the terminals are properly connected. If the problem still persists the n take the bike to a reputed mechanic to rectify the issue.
- Front disc brake loses its bite: The problem usually occurs when air gets trapped in the flow of oil. Do air bleeding in the service centre. The entrapped air tends to decrease the efficiency of braking therefore leading to a sluggish feel while braking.
- Chain tightening: The chain often needs to be tightened. Tighten the chain to appropriate tension using a 14mm spanner and a ring spanner. But it is recommended, that you, let the mechanic do it if you have not done it before because too much of tightening will cause rapid wear and tear of chain along with the sprocket.
- Fuel meter doesn’t show the amount of fuel left. Again an electrical problem and is best left to the service centre.
Ofcourse there are other problems as well but these are the main ones. These are the problems that RTR owners often face and hope this article would help to solve your RTR woes.
