In the 11th edition of CNBC overdrive awards 2011 held at Mumbai Bajaj pulsar was conferred the " hall of fame" for its stunning performance.
Bajaj auto limited launched pulsar almost a decade back and has grown from strength to strength becoming an owner’s pride today. Until the launch of Pulsar way back in 2001, the consumers had limited options and the key focus among the bike manufacturers were largely fuel-efficiency with low bhp options. Pulsar’s success story is largely attributed to its sporty features, trendy outlook and quicker 0-100 pickup speed which revolutionized the motorcycle landscape among the adrenaline-seeking youngsters.

Today, Pulsar variants are available in a wider range (135cc, 150cc, 180cc, 220cc) from which the consumers can opt from.
