
Mission motors launched their latest electric superbike in Long Beach International Motorcycle Show. It will take part in the 2011 TTXGP Championship (Time Trial Xtreme Grand Prix). It boasts of a 141 horsepower which comes from a 14.4 kWh capacity battery and motor itself has a three phase liquid cooled AC Induction design. Peak torque is about 115 lb-ft and transmission is through a single gear and a final chain drive. The top speed of the bike is more than 160mph! .
The frame uses the AC motor as a fully stressed member and battery is a semi stressed member. Braking system is taken care by Brembo and all the parts are sourced from top companies. The bike is track ready with all the aerodynamic, cornering aspects of the bike fully looked after.
