This is a proud moment for all the Indians as the Bangalore based Ten10 racing team in collaboration with the Italian WTR will be the first Indian team to participate in the worlds most renowned motorcycle championship, the MotoGP. The WTR Ten10 team will field a team in the MotoGP 125cc category.
The team will be represented by the Chennai based lad Sarath Kumar who will be accompanied by Francesco Mauriello. The three-year partnership agreement between WTR and Ten10 Racing is structured to continue into the new Moto3 class in 2012, and also has intentions to compete in the Moto2category in the future. Team Manager and Director WTR, Loris Castellucci adds, “I am personally very satisfied of this partnership, which is mainly born by the passion that WTR Team and Ten10 Racing commonly share for motorcycle racing. This is an extremely important project that ties together WTR and Ten10 for the next three years. Our common goal is to be recognised as WTR-Ten10 Racing, and thanks to efforts from Mr. Ramji and team such an important project has been realised".
