Bajaj which launched the Boxer 150 in the past for the rural economy of the country might further release the Bajaj Boxer BM100 in the future, thanks to images of the same caught testing by Indiancarsandbikes.in.
The Bajaj BM100 already exists in overseas markets such as Latin America and the Middle East. But is the testing for the Indian market?
The bike certainly looks for the rural market with spoke alloys, carrier and a simple look. The BM100 has a 100cc engine that is the single spark variant of its Discover 100 engine. It produces a peak power of 7.6 Bhp and 7.5 Nm of torque.
Honda and Suzuki have recently entered the economy segment of two wheelers with their own variants (Dream Yuga and Hayate) and Yamaha are said to be developing the cheapest two-wheeler for now. Bajaj in my opinion is certainly looking to cash in on the segment, which isn't new either.
