Well, this is quite surprising. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the captain of the Indian cricket team who we all know has a thing for motorcycles is going to run his own team at the World Supersport category of the World Super Bike championship next year. The same year WSBK is set to enter the Indian soil.
From other reports on the net, the Kawasaki MSD R-N Team have already made their debut at Brno. Florian Marino was on the ZX-6R. Dan Linfoot will accompany him at Silverstone. A 13th place by Florian Marino seems very promising for the team.
BIKE India have reported that MSD and the R-N in the team's name stand for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Nagarjuna respectively (Though I have no idea how they are acquainted). The Team Principal is Amit Sandill while Andrew Stone is the technical director. The official announcement will be made soon.
