Kawasaki who has been a dominant face in the 250cc segment in India, is all set to revamp their Ninja 250R by next year. The Kawasaki website showcased the all new Kawasaki Ninja 250R 2013 edition.
According to the Kawasaki Japan website, the engine and chassis have undergone changes as well. The new Heat Management System is another welcome feature. The large openings on the fairing of the bike will help in dissipating heat quickly. The radiator fan will come into effect whenever the bike is idling thereby blowing the hot air emanating from the engine away from the rider.
From the above image, its definitely clear that Kawasaki means business. Even though its a bit heavy on the pockets, its the best 250cc motorcycle across the world. The new design looks meaner and sharper. The front definitely looks inspired from its elder sibling, the ZX10R. The exhaust simply looks beautiful and is more refined looking. The older one had an analog display while the new one will have a digital display and a pass switch. The ABS has been introduced in the new version although its optional. The rear tyre is now a 140, the previous one being a 130 section.

Kawasaki hasn't made any mentions about specifications. We certainly hope there will be performance upgrades. Lets hope Kawasaki plan to roll soon this into India and not to mention, price them 'competitively'.
